One year ago... Nov. 9th 2007

Last year on this day we lost someone special to most of us.
Killer*King. I would like to Dedicate this thread to him. Anyone who is in the server today should take time and remember all the good times we have had over the past few years while playing in the killer server also take into mind that king was a huge part in the fun we have shared while playing there. With the passing of King, Queen has taken up the challenge of keeping the memory of him alive and continueing to provide us all with a place to play. I would like to take the time to thank King for all the good memories and all hail Queen for staying strong and being with us today.

Endless amount of good memories. King and Queen took us away from our worries and made q3 a haven to come to at the end of the day. 

Even i hadn't knew him that good as You guys, I feel really sorry. When I was newbie and when with me with my friend were starting journey with Killer*Freeze I had an opportunity to play with Killer King. I was happy becuase I plyed with him, u know.

King was without a doubt one of the two nicest people I have met in Quake. When I started playing Quake, by pure luck I connected to an old server called Side Hill Salmon. I met King and Queen there and they both had the patience of teaching and helping me tweak my game. Back then I didn't think a true friendship could develop over the internet; how wrong was I. King is one of the kindest, most disinterested, giving, loving, true person I have ever met.

R.I.P. hermano, you shall be remembered

King was an Awesome person and I stilll think of him everyday. Rest In Peace Buddy.

The PAD maps where we hid in the shadows and fought bravely for our Queen. the King was usually flyin' High in hte Air and Railing people at will. Always Dead on with his aim!

Always warm to friends and happy to say hello and ask how you were.

I remember when I had heard the news of his passing. I made plans to attend the services after work. Work had kept me later than expected. finally I told my client I had to leave and drove the 55 miles back home to attend the services. I was later, but was able to catch the last part of the services. I was upset at not being able to be there when they had started. Funny how online friendships can have such an impact an impact on daily living.

Over the years I've made lots of friends through Quake. Some of them fleeting, others long lasting friendships whichhave endured the test of time. People lasugh at e when I tell them I only use the computer to watch movies, listen to music and play games. They just don't get it!

King, still missing you. Someday we will all be together again for some good banging. Hope your resting in peace, my friend
